Residency Practicum Teacher Candidates’ Calendar

  • Start the semester with your cooperating teacher (PD days included).
  • Follow your school district’s calendar (For example – Thanksgiving Break).
  • Then you end your semester based on Northwest Missouri State University’s Calendar (Thursday of Finals Week).

Must attempt the MoCA prior to Nov. 12 in order to be eligible to student teach Spring 2023

    Online Residency Practicum Meet & Greet with Lead University Supervisors

5 Professional Class Days - Attendance will be taken and is required – SAVE THE DATES

  • August 29, 2022 | The Station 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
  • September 21, 2022 | Hughes Fieldhouse
    Mock Interview Day 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. & Zoom with Lead Instructors 12:30-3:00 p.m.
  • October 17, 2022 | The Station 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
  • November 14, 2022 | The Station 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
  • December 5, 2022 | via Zoom 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Student Teaching Teacher Candidates’ Calendar

  • Start the semester with your cooperating teacher (PD Days included).
  • Follow your school district’s calendar (For example – Thanksgiving Break).  
  • The Triad/Quad will determine the end date based on a 16 week placement starting with the TC’s first day with students.

Announcement/Reminder for Spring 2023 Traditional Student Teaching Teacher Candidates
